Edwin Channels, the son of Charles and Norma Channels, was born, raised, and born again in East Cleveland, OH. He accepted Christ in his life at the age of 12 under the direction of Rev. Edward Small(Starlight BC). Edwin has been singing since age 11. He dedicated his vocal ability to the Lord after winning a talent showcase while attending Shaw High School. He sang a stirring rendition of “God Bless the Child” that brought the first place trophy home.
 
Edwin Channels obtained a Bachelor of Arts in French from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH.  While attending OSU, Edwin stayed active in church, Columbus, OH. He currently serves as an elder and one of the worship leaders at Life Changing Empowerment Ministries where Elder Ron Lyles and First Lady Mary Lyles pastor.
 
Edwin has performed music ministry in several conferences and festivals: Columbus GospelFest, I Hear Music in the Air Conference, Red, White and BOOM! And the Jazz Heritage Series to name a few. He has shared the stages of Esther Smith, Rufus Troutman and Tim Bowman. Edwin Channels has done a number of concerts and has produced 3 CDs: "Live and Not Die" (1999) (Live Recording), "How to Live"(2006), and “Jeremiah 29:11” (2020). He released two singles, "Love Came Down", December 2018 and most recently, “He Keeps on Doing Great Things for Me” in July 2021.
 
Edwin Channels founded the business CHANNELS4U June 2012. He produced “Jeremiah 29:11” through this company. He married his beloved helpmate Belinda October 20, 2018. Edwin is looking upward and forward to what the future holds. He is doing all he can to glorify God, build people up.
